Pick-up from Chiang Mai city hotel and drive to Phrao District, a rural town 107 km north-north- east of Chiang Mai. The beauty of this trip starting from the journey to Phrao which is scenic and peaceful – the visitors will come across many picturesque countryside views and its quaint villages. The locals here are known for their friendliness and caring nature. The first stop in Phrao is at Buatong Waterfall, is one of the famous and attractive tourist destinations in Chiang Mai province. The falls are fed by a small stream which ripples its way down a 100-metre slope covered in limestone accretions. Like most waterfalls, it is cool and pleasant but unlike most waterfalls the surface of the limestone waterfall is not slippery. In addition to wonderful waterfalls, the Rainbow Spring pond where the sun lights creates a natural rainbow effect above the pond. After visit, continue the trip to Baan Luang. Upon the arrival at the village, the visitors will get to meet the chief of the village, who will introduce them to their hosts and their guides. The village chief will brief the guests about the village and the activities. Hosts will take their guests to their houses. A home host lunch at the village. After lunch, guests will take a village tour by bicycle (or local vehicle, E-Tax car), visit the folk-life museum, the way of life in the community and explore the village. Return to Chiang Mai town in late afternoon.
